The Nelson Companies Provides Construction Services to Charles River Public Internet Center in Waltham, Mass.
WALTHAM, Mass. -The Nelson Companies, a full-service real estate development, construction, brokerage and property services firm, announced that it recently provided a full range of construction services to Charles River Public Internet Center (CRPIC) in Waltham, Mass.
"We did everything in our power to get the Center back up and running after significant damage was caused from the flood. The Nelson Companies completed the project faster than what had been expected," said John Craig, President of The Nelson Companies. "This important public facility had suffered extensive water damage and needed major repair. We provided carpentry, plaster, carpet and VCT, among other construction and property maintenance services. We were also very successful in renegotiating on CRPIC's behalf with their insurance firm in order to award them fair insurance benefits for their substantial loss."
The CRPIC is a privately funded nonprofit educational organization, whose mission is to ensure that every member of the community has equal access to computers, the Internet and computer training. The CRPIC is based in Waltham, and houses a public computer center, as well as PC training labs available for rent on daily, weekly or long term basis.
