MARLBOROUGH, Mass. - CB Richard Ellis/New England announced the sale of Applebriar Apartments, a 164-unit class “A” apartment community located in Marlborough, Massachusetts to Sentinel Real Estate Corporation. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Applebriar Apartments consists of a 164-unit apartment community situated on Route 20, less than one mile west of I-495 (Exit 24) and approximately four miles from I-290 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. I-495 is the outer beltway around Boston that connects to I-93 to the north and I-90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) to the south. In addition to exceptional highway access, the property is located just north of the Southborough Commuter Rail Station, which provides train service to Boston's South Station (35 miles to the east). Local retail amenities include the 1.2 million square foot Solomon Pond Mall and the adjacent RK Centre, which includes such tenants as Hannaford's Supermarket, Panera Bread and Starbucks.
Built in 1989 as a condominium development, Applebriar is comprised of fifteen two and three-story buildings. Applebriar offers eleven different floor plans, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to two-bedroom, two-bath townhouses.
