NEEDHAM, MA — NAIOP Massachusetts, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, announced that Boston Properties, Inc. will receive NAIOP's 2010 Distinguished Real Estate Award for achievements in real estate, charitable activities, and community betterment.

The award will be presented to Boston Properties at NAIOP's Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday, November 9 at the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston. NAIOP will also present a special Public Service Award to Boston Properties' late CEO, Edward H. Linde, in recognition of the impact he had on countless charitable and civic causes throughout the city. In his honor, the award will be renamed the NAIOP Edward Linde Public Service Award.
