BRAINTREE, Mass.-Integrated Builders, a construction management, design-build and general contracting firm, announced it has completed a two-phase, 133,500-square-foot interior construction project at the worldwide corporate headquarters of Aspect Software, the world's largest company solely focused on Unified Communications for the Contact Center™.
Completed late last year, Phase II consisted of constructing a 6,500-square-foot technologically-advanced demonstration and training area, the principal facilities of its Corporate Briefing Center, at 300 Apollo Drive, in Chelmsford, Mass. Phase II also included the construction of conference rooms, offices, break rooms and training rooms. For this phase of the project, Integrated Builders worked in collaboration with Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, a Boston-based architectural design firm.
Prior to Phase II, Integrated Builders completed the 127,500-square-foot tenant fit-up on the first and second floors of 300 Apollo Drive. The new space consists of conference rooms, offices, open offices, break rooms, training rooms and common spaces. The major focus was placed on the Data/IT Center, a vital component of the Aspect Software facilities. The construction of the Data/IT Center included a generator, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), a Liebert dry cooler system and an extensive electrical package. For this phase of the project, Integrated Builders worked in collaboration with Spagnolo Gisness & Associates.
“This was an exciting challenge for our team as phased construction requires a well-thought out blueprint, one that has minimal impact on the daily operations of the company,” said Jay Dacey, president of Integrated Builders. “We are proud with the results and believe that the strategic objectives of Aspect Software can now be fully realized given its newly enhanced space.” |
