| CHELSEA, Mass.-ACS Development Corporation, an experienced developer and owner of office, industrial, retail and residential properties, announced the leasing of 2,700 square feet of retail space at 397 Main Street in Woburn, Mass., to TreMonte Restaurant & Bar, a new Italian restaurant owned and managed by Anthony Contarino, a native of the North End.
TreMonte signed a five-year lease with ACS Development for the 2,700 square foot prime retail space at 397 Main St., which was once occupied by Woolworth's department store. The five-year lease also includes an optional five-year extension.
The 100-seat restaurant offers handicapped access and a sit-down bar with menu items ranging from antipasti to insalata and to contorni. Specialty entrees also include baked haddock with shrimp, pan roasted chicken breast, pork chops with herbs, fillet mignon, rack of lamb, homemade pasta, and grilled veal.
"We looked at several locations to find the right spot," said Contarino, who most recently managed Giovanni's restaurant in Malden, Mass. "Finally, we found this desired location in the heart of downtown Woburn. After a lengthy approval process with the City of Woburn, we are thrilled to be open. We opened our doors on the night of a snowstorm and despite stormy weather ever since, we are doing very well!"
"We are thrilled to bring TreMonte to Woburn Center," said Patricia Simboli, a principal of ACS Development Corporation. "We believe great restaurants are critical to downtown revitalization and TreMonte offers terrific food with a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The location offers exceptional parking, especially for a downtown location, since the restaurant is accessible from the municipal parking lot in the rear. We welcome TreMonte as out tenant and expect that it will be very well received by the community as a real contribution to the variety of Woburn Center."
Other tenants in the 14,000-square-foot building include Western New England College, H & R Block, and Jackowicz Oriental Medical Therapy Associates.
