NAIOP PRESENTS: "Turnpike Development; New Opportunities - Unique Challenges"
NEEDHAM, Mass. - On Thursday, October 30, 2003, NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties) will present a breakfast program titled "Turnpike Development; New Opportunities - Unique Challenges" The program will feature a series of speakers who will discuss the upcoming opportunities and distinct challenges of air right development over the Massachusetts Turnpike. The program will include an exciting state-of-the-art presentation by Roger Cassin on his Columbus Center project; the latest major multi-use development to be built over the Massachusetts Turnpike including a discussion of the complex process and special challenges that have been confronted by the development team of Cassin/Winn Associates. David Dixon of Goody Clancy & Associates, the author of the City of Boston's civic vision document, will present the City's view of how future development of this unique space should contribute to the fabric of the City. Finally, Stephen Hines, Chief Development Officer for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, will discuss the existing development opportunities over and adjacent to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Randi Lathrop, Deputy Director of Community Development for the Boston Redevelopment Authority will be the program moderator and David Hancock of CBT /Childs Bertman Tseckares, Inc. will provide the program introduction. The program will be held in the ballroom of the Hyatt Hotel, Boston, MA. (Formerly the Swissotel) Registration and breakfast will be at 7:15 a.m. and the program will take place between 8:00 - 9:15 a.m. This program is being sponsored by CBT /Childs Bertman Tseckares, Inc. The registration fee for this program is $45 for NAIOP members, $55 for employees of member firms, and $65 for non-members.
